interior_designerEvery design brief has its own challenges and surprises. Our Interior Designers make it their prerogative to approach each project separately with no preconceived sense of style or design. Instead, we like to treat all of our clients as individuals, preferring to allow their varying tastes and ambitions to come to the fore as we engage in the design process.
We design every aspect of the project from the wall and floor finishes to lighting and electrical design in addition to full FF&E specifications and procurement service.

We’re passionate about textures, combining materials and fabrics, colour palettes and tailored lighting systems, to create a flowing narrative from room to room – producing interiors that tell a story.

We keep our clients at the heart of the project, seeking regular sign offs to ensure that our client remains engaged in the decision making process.
At execution stage our efficient site supervision reassured service allows the focus to remain on achieving the best design results and craftsmanship possible.

To the end, we make sure to keep all channels open throughout every step of the project, right from pre-planning to after-care. Becoming the central point of communication, which is key to delivering the best results, we maintain regular lines of conversation between our clients, the contractors, suppliers and any other parties that may be involved.

Project approach is key to the successful completion of each and every project. When possible, we strive to implement projects in a “Phased in approach”. The project is split up into individual phases, each with it’s own tasks and deliverables. Each phase provides functionality and payback for the customer. Regardless of the size of the project, several steps are necessary to ensure the solution is developed in the most effective, efficient and economical way. Here’s a brief outline of the steps taken in each project.

During this phase the team prepares a project charter, takes measurements and photos for the interior, prepares as built drawings, makes acquaintance with all stakeholders and exchange required documents and drawings sets, in addition to discussing initial budgets.

During this phase the team prepares a concept of functionality of the interior (spatial plans) with the proposed placement of furniture and other major items of equipment – Visualization of the interior of selected areas (sketches and inspirational images) illustrating the general principles of aesthetic solutions, materials, colors and lighting (concept and style boards)

During this phase the team continues the design work based on the approved concept, and prepares visualization of the interior of the rooms (photo realistic 3D views) and finalizes the general principles of aesthetic solutions, materials, colors and lighting and selects furniture, fittings and equipment (FF&E) in the form of a sample board.

During this phase the team prepares a set of technical drawings required for realization and execution of the project, comprising:
• Spatial planning in the form of a layout at 1:50, with the dimensions
• Lighting arrangement (location of points of light on walls and ceilings, and the layout of electrical outlets and light switches) in the form of a layout at 1:50/1:20, with the dimensions
• Floor coverings arrangement in the form of a layout at 1:50/1:20, with the dimensions
• Plumbing points arrangement in bathroom and kitchen in the form of a layout at 1:50/1:20, with the dimensions
• Views and sections of walls with complete accessories, colors and materials (wallpaper, stone cladding, wood, etc.) in 1:20 scale, with dimensions
• Detailed construction plans for the kitchens and pantries at 1:20, with the dimensions
• Drawings of furniture to size at 1:29, with the dimensions
In addition to the technical drawings the following documents are to be provided:
• FF&E Catalogue, which is a detailed inventory of the furniture, fittings and equipment, which are an integral part of designed space (furniture, lighting, plumbing, wall cladding and floor)
• Finishing material schedule, which is a summary of the surface and the number of necessary finishing materials.
• If required by the client a bill of quantities (BOQ), which is a list of all the materials and items of work required for executing the project.

During this phase the team carries on call of the investor or contractor to discuss the various stages of work and issues in the project (allow to ensure compliance of the implementation with design goals and achieve high quality finishing works).
Common visits to the project are aimed at choice of finishing materials and specific furnishings.

For price inquiries, price of the project is determined individually. We invite you to send a request with a brief description of the investment.

Our priority is listening to clients and work with them to develop a design concept that is functional and represents their design aesthetic.  We collaborate closely with clients to make sure the design is exactly what they are looking for.

We are located in the kingdom of Bahrain and most of our projects are located here, however we have designed projects in the GCC and are available to design projects everywhere in the GCC depending on the scope of work, budget, and timeline.

Architects and Interior Designers work differently. Most Architects work primarily with structure and building design. Interior Designers work with details of interiors including kitchen and bath design, custom cabinetry and built-ins, color schemes, flooring specifications, and wall and window treatments. Designers can create a master plan for the interior of your entire project, which can be implemented in stages, depending on the budget. The ideal design team consists of both an Architect and an Interior Designer in order to cover all aspects of your internal and external spaces.

Our services range from pre-construction detailing to complete interior design.  Some of our projects include space planning, lighting design, custom millwork and furniture design.

We have worked on projects ranging from clean/ contemporary to classic traditional.  We are fully qualified to work with all types of styles and design concepts so that we can provide whatever our clients require.

Every project is different, but a client should always be able to openly collaborate with a designer to discuss preferences, budget and project scope.   We will select furniture, paints, and fabrics, do drawings and get pricing in order to present them to you to choose from.

It’s helpful for clients to begin by looking at magazines to get some design ideas and inspiration.  Start by assembling items you love as well as things you would like to stay away from.   Any additional ideas or questions you have collected, including an estimation of your budget, will make the initial consultation with your designer more efficient.
